SonicCrypt Feedback

Hello everyone,

you can use this thread to give me feedback on the platform, share ideas or just let me know if you have any problems.

SonicCrypt is currently in alpha stage, but almost everything should work, hopefully.
You have did a great work to make this platform. The thing I can add is a way to follow an artist to get notified when it release their music.
Maybe it's an idea for DJs to upload their favourite sets, just for streaming, not for download. Or would that cause issues with music rights?
I think this could be an issue but I can create a text field for them to link directly to sets, they uploaded somewhere.
Ya that would be a great idea for the DJ's to showcase their cool dj sets
A Remix Marketplace would be a platform feature allowing users to share and participate.

Creators: Upload original tracks or stems for remixing:
- Stems (vocals, drums, bass, etc.)
- Tempo / key information
- Tag genres or styles
- Deadline

Remixers: Choose tracks to remix and upload remixes.
There is plenty of options and possbilities.

Greetings,

Chris
Thank you all for your ideas. I collected them all and will see what I can add in the future.

The Remix Marketplace sounds great! Thank you, Tazento. I think it would make the platform even more interesting. The only issue could be with disk space, if I were to provide the option to offer stems as WAV files. If you think mp3 320kb/s would be fine, I would offer it like this. We could give the artists a field to provide a download link to lossless files, if needed.
It could be the URL of the remix kit stored on Mega, Google Drive or so, that make the artist get control of their remix kits and saving disk space of the site
I know I DM'd this to you already but for sake of having it written down somewhere... :-P

It would be cool to add streaming sites to the description and be able to have a profile say when we're live and on which platform. I know Twitch and (FINALLY) Kick can do it with their respective APIs, and other sites are slowly either dying or making that available. Mixcloud has webhooks, I do believe, but not sure if there's a "streamer_is_live" one.
Ah, this is a great idea. I will implement it too.
